December 2025: Chenshu co-chaired the #Meiosis4Eva Minisymposium at Cell Bio 2025 with Sadie Wignall, Needhi Bhalla, and Soni Lacefield! We had a blast at Philly!


November 2025: Rachel Nenstiel passed her PhD Candidacy Exam with flying colors, and gave a wonderful talk at the Mid-Atlantic Meiosis Mini-symposium at the University of Delaware -- Way to go, Rachel!


September 2025: Undergraduate student Everest Zimmermann joins the lab. Welcome Everest!


July 2025: The Liu lab is grateful to receive the R35 MIRA Award from the NIH (NIGMS). This award will support our long-term goal to understand the mechanisms and roles of nuclear envelope dynamics in meiotic quality control!


June 2025: The Liu lab is grateful to receive the Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award from the ORAU (Oak Ridge Associated Universities). This one-year award will support our early pilot studies to explore nuclear envelope dynamics in meiosis!

Dec 5, 2024: as part of the course BIOS397/431 (Frontiers in Reproductive Cell Biology), Chenshu hosted Dr. Rita Jones from Office of Inclusive Excellence and Belonging at Lehigh University, to give a guest seminar to explore the interplay between reproductive cell biology and society. We learned so much!


Nov 21, 2024: Chenshu’s postdoc paper with Abby Dernburg went online in Science! WOO-HOO!


Nov 18, 2024: The Liu Lab at Lehigh completed its final renovation and opened its doors!
