Since 2022, I have teamed up with Drs. Soni Lacefield and Needhi Bhalla to organize an annual meiosis-themed Special Interest Subgroup Session at the Cell Bio meetings. This Special Interest Subgroup Session, now titled “#Meiosis4Eva: Frontiers in Meiosis and Germ Cell Biology”, established an international platform to highlight research in the vibrant field of meiosis and germ cell biology. Over the years, our Subgroup has attracted significant interest, increasing the visibility of our field and fostering cross-disciplinary exchange among the diverse cell biology communities at the international Cell Bio meetings.

This year we have a spectacular line-up of speakers at Cell Bio 2024!
